Chill on the Hill in Bay View
The Bay View Neighborhood Association presented Chill on the Hill at Humboldt Park on Aug. 10. The event is held every Tuesday through Aug. 31.
Miss St. Francis 2010
Some of the area's most gracious and talented young ladies took part in the 46th Annual Miss St. Francis Pageant, held April 10 at Thomas More High School. Oak Creek's Angela Ahcin took home the crown.
Pet Blessings
Pastor David Gaeth of the Greendale Community Church and Father John at Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi offered blessings for all manner of pets Oct. 3.

The annual South Shore Frolics is celebrating its 60th year this weekend at South Shore Park in Bay View. On Sunday, the Frolics Festival of Arts will showcase genres such as folk, digital surrealism, landscape and photographs. On Saturday, however, all eyes were on the parade.
